Voice Performance Measurements.

Abstract

Subjective intelligibility scores are determined for various combinations of signal-to-noise ratios, clipping, filtering, and pre-emphasis/de-emphasis. These are compared with scores derived using linear predictive coding (LPC). An overall correlation of 0.88 is obtained between the two sets of scores. (Author)
