Abstract

This report is a guide for computing longshore transport rate. Step-by-step procedures are presented as a guide through an analysis of the available data to the appropriate choice of one or more of the four Shore Protection Manual methods of estimating the longshore transport rate. Each of the four method is explained with appropriate references or examples. (Author)
