A Minimum Excursion-Time Control System.

Abstract

A significant reduction in total test times of computer-controlled fatigue tests has been achieved by the design of a minimum excursion-time control system. The computer calculates in real time the minimum-time path between two excursion points, subject to variable velocity and acceleration constraints. This technique has been extended to multi-channel systems. (Author)
