Accelerated Life Tests and Information.

Abstract

This is a partly philosophical discussion of the problems of conducting accelerated life test experiments and analyzing data from such experiments. Our objective is to predict life at a specified stress level. The concept of information is presented and its quantification via entropy discussed.
