A Parabolic Cylinder Reflector System with Low Sidelobes - Experimental Results.

Abstract

An off-set parabolic cylinder reflector system with low sidelobes is described, and experimental results are presented to substantiate the theoretical design. A reduced height waveguide primary feed system superimposing the TE(10) and TE(30) waveguide modes was designed, fabricated, and tested so that the required bandwidth and far field radiation patterns could be realized.
