Approximation Schemes for the Linear-Quadratic Optimal Control Problem Associated with Delay-Equations.

Abstract

The linear regulator problem for delay equation is discussed. We propose a (theoretical) solution involving Riccati integral equations and them axiomatically discuss a general approximation scheme. The details are given for spline and averaging approximations. (Author)
