Partial Denture Alloy-Denture Cleanser Interaction,

Abstract

The electrochemical behavior of three partial denture casting alloys was studied. Under simulated conditions of denture storage, only one test alloy exhibited spontaneous active-passive transition. The findings contraindicate the use of five widely used materials for the immersion cleansing of cobalt-based removal partial denture frameworks. (Author)
