Cooperative Phenomena in the Interaction of Multimode Radiation with Extended Resonant Medium.

Abstract

The transition from incoherence to coherence emission in superfluorescence (SF) was elucidated. The exact solution to the superradiance master equation was reported. Analytical solution to a non-Markovian master equation for oscillatory SF was obtained. Frequency shift and decay time of radiation in a cavity were calculated. The effects of pumping process on the tipping angle and quantum fluctuations in SF were determined. (Author)
