Microcomputer Interfacing Techniques.
Abstract
A number of parallel interfacing methods for microcomputer systems are discussed which use the Motorola 6800 microprocessor as a central processing unit. A minimum processing system is defined, and the individual electronic components are defined and explained. The report also illustrates the requirements of the Peripheral Interface Adapter integrated circuit in effecting the Input/Output of data. The techniques and instructions necessary to interface signal generators, printers, and data acquisition systems to a microcomputer are also described. (Author)
