Beach Mobility Tests on 50,000-Pound-Capacity, Rough-Terrain Container Handlers

Abstract

Beach mobility tests reported within are a continuation of previous testing reported in MERADCOM Report 2241, dated April 1978; the test procedures, plan of test, and soils sampling are the same as reported previously. Conclusions in this report provide the flotation index for all 50,000-pound, rough-terrain container handlers tested.
