An Approximation Scheme for Delay Equations.

Abstract

We present a general approximation scheme for autonomous FDE's with Lipschitzean right-hand side. Our approach is based on approximation results in semigroup theory. The results are applied to nonlinear autonomous FDE's in the state space IR to the nth power x L to the 2nd power and to linear autonomous FDE's of neutral type in the state spaces IR to the nth power x L to the 2nd power and W to the 2nd power.
