An Assessment of Available Security System Simulations to Support the TNFS2 Program.

Abstract

This research effort involved an analysis of existing computer simulations to determine the availability of suitable simulations that could be used to evaluate the effectiveness of security systems and concepts in support of Theater Nuclear Force (TNF) weapons during peacetime. The report, in addition to presenting analyses of existing simulations, summarizes security system requirements, identifies threat elements, discusses possible performance measures, and indicates an interface of simulations with a test program. Although several simulations are directly applicable to the purpose of supporting the TNFS2 Program, a significant amount of simulation development will still be required. (Author)
