The Singularity Expansion Method Applied to Perpendicular Crossed Wires Over an Imperfect Ground Plane. A Sommerfeld Integral Formulation.

Abstract

The singularity expansion method (SEM) has been applied to determine natural resonances of a horizontal wire and perpendicular crossed wires oriented over an imperfect ground plane. In order to account for the imperfect conductivity of the ground, the Sommerfeld formulation is used and a theoretical-numerical solution obtained. Sample results are presented for both the frequency domain and the SEM solutions. (Author)
