Summary of Federal Aviation Administration Responses to National Transportation Safety Board Safety Recommendations.

Abstract

This report contains NTSB recommendations and all FAA responses to Board recommendations that were delivered to the Board during the applicable quarter. In addition, the report includes NTSB requests and FAA responses concerning reconsiderations, status reports, and followup actions. The Table of Contents for this report reflects only those NTSB recommendations which are still open pending FAA action (i.e., those that have not been designated as 'Closed' by the NTSB as a result of acceptable action). Accordingly, the Table of Contents may reflect a number of multiple recommendations (example: A-80-5 through 7), but background material is included only for those recommendations which remain in an 'Open' status. Background information for those recommendations which have been closed is available in FAA headquarters files. (Author)
