Effects of Resolution, Field of View and Vegetation on Sensor Access.

Abstract

This report discusses the effects of sensor resolution, field of view and vegetation on geometric aspects of sensor access. Resolution, field of view and vegetation effects on sensor platform operational altitudes and on mapping swath widths are discussed. Sensors which are considered include line scanners, photographic cameras, television cameras and FLIRs. (Author)
