Crack Propagation and Deformation in PZT Transducer Ceramics.

Abstract

This report summarizes studies completed over the period 3/1/76 to 2/29/80 representing a research program on environmental (chemical, electrical and mechanical) effects on crack propagation in the piezoelectric transducer ceramic PZT. Stress relaxation and the photomechanical effect in PZT are also discussed. (Author)
