Input Signal Synthesis for Linear and Nonlinear System Identification.

Abstract

This study will consider the general problem of optimal input signal synthesis for dynamic systems. Diffefent optimality criteria are to be investigated and compared. The primary emphasis in the study shall be on the development of feedback control policies for spedific criteria. The improvements possible through the use of suitably chosen input signals will be investigated.
