Computerized Algorithms: Evaluation of Capability to Predict Graduation from Air Force Training.

Abstract

This report contains the results of a study to compare the classification accuracy and computer resource requirements of the Motivational Attrition Prediction (MAP) computerized algorithm with the classification accuracy and computer resource requirements of other computerized statistical algorithms capable of predicting graduation from Technical Training, Basic Military Training, and Undergraduate Pilot Training. It includes descriptions of the sampled populations, sample selection from each population, independent and dependent variables, comparison of classification accuracies and required computer resources, and related research efforts.
