Study of the Potential of Main-Beam Nulling with an Overlapped-Subarray Antenna,

Abstract

A study has been made of the possibility of placing nulls in the main beam of an overlapped subarray antenna by controlling the subarray pattern. We have found that it is possible to form main-beam nulls by this technique, but that the nulls are relatively narrow band. (Author)
