Computer Organization and Information Hiding.

Abstract

A new internal organization of a computer is proposed by applying the principle of information hiding to the structure of a computer. The new organization is inspected in the light of the requirements set forth on computer organization by Functional Programming systems. The current status of the implementation of such a computer and the future directions of research are mentioned. (Author)
