Performance of Minicomputers in Finite Element Analysis Pre and Post Processing.

Abstract

The paper presents a study of the performance of a typical 16-bit minicomputer in a finite element environment. The study gives a realistic feel for the performance of such systems in a practical environment, and provides an example of how the performance of such systems may be measured. (Author)
