Stressful Life Events: Measurement, Moderators, and Adaptation.

Abstract

This report reviews on stressful life events with special attention to the role of moderator variables. Social support is used to illustrate the role of individual differences and environmental factors in response to stress. Theoretical issues and problems requiring study are discussed. (Author)
