Regenerative Engine Analysis.

Abstract

This report summarizes the results of a regenerative turboshaft study. The work was performed in two tasks. Task I was a 4-month parametric study of cyclic and recuperator design parameters leading to the selection of those parameters providing minimum fuel consumption and life-cycle cost. Task II consisted of a 2-month preliminary design of a selected regenerative engine cycle.
