The Toxicity of Photographic Chemicals.

Abstract

This document was written by the Optical Systems Group (OSG) of the Range Commanders Council (RCC) to promote safe working conditions in photographic laboratories and to provide a comprehensive source of information pertinent to the toxicity of photographic chemicals. It includes safe handling techniques and information aimed at making laboratory technicians and managers aware of the importance of maintaining a hazard free work environment. The Toxicity of Photographic Chemicals is published in loose-leaf format to make future updates easy. When new chemicals or solutions are introduced by the photoprocessing industry, they will be added to the document's existing appendix. Currently the appendix is in two parts: 'Eastman Kodak Safe Handling Considerations' (including Eastman Kodak Material Safety Data Sheets) and 'Ilford Chemicals.'
