Bathymetric Data Reduction System.

Abstract

This report describes the development of the bathymetric data reduction system. It addresses mathematical areas (projection transformations and their inverses, fathogram processing and geographic sectioning) data accuracy considerations. (Registration and data manipulation), software accomplishments (digitizing, batch processing and data base) and software/hardware configuration. This report contains appendices detailing terms used, loadlines and file and record formats. (Author)
