Use of a Microprocessor to Implement an ADCCP Protocol (Federal Standard 1003).

Abstract

The objective of this program is to develop block diagrams, flow charts, and computer programming for the unbalanced normal, balanced asynchronous and unbalanced asynchronous class of procedures in accordance with Federal Standard 1003 'Telecommunications: Synchronous Bit Oriented Data Link Control Procedures (Advanced Data Communication Control Procedures)'. The purpose of this effort is to determine the feasibility of using the M6800 or similar microprocessor, to implement this type of protocol, and to obtain an estimate of memory and processor resources that would be required.
