On the Free - Energy Relationships for Reversible and Irreversible Electron Transfer Processes.

Abstract

The relationship between the free energy change and the activation energy for electron transfer reactions is examined. Two general classes, reversible and irreversible, processes are discussed, and the relation between them studied. An analysis of the differences between linear and non-linear free energy relationships is presented. (Author)
