Abstract

This Technical Information Bulletin (TIB) describes the measurement of Compression factor and error sensitivity factor of the Modified READ two-dimensional facsimile coding technique. The TIB contains detailed flow charts and computer programming associated with this coding scheme. Compression factor and error sensitivity together with statistical data have also been tabulated. This TIB is a companion document to NCS TIB's 79-7, 79-8, 79-9, and 79-10. (Author)
