Radiation Evaluation of the AM2901A Microprocessor.

Abstract

This report describes the development of a program to perform a radiation evaluation and error analysis of the AM2901A bit-slice microprocessor. The integrated circuit (IC) manufacturer's functional and dynamic test sets were obtained and rewritten using algorithmic pattern generation programming techniques to run on an in-house MD-104 tester. The test procedure and radiation evaluation of the microprocessor are presented. The devices were tested in neutron, total gamma dose, and transient ionizing dose-rate environments.
