A Preliminary Human Factors Flight Assessment of a Marconi Automatic Map Reader.

Abstract

A Marconi Automatic Map Reader was flight tested in low level, enroute, and nap-of-the-earth flight profiles to determine its suitability for navigation. The results obtained from these flights demonstrated a viable potential of the Marconi AMR as an interim navigation system. (Author)
