Laser and Optical Physics.

Abstract

Research reported herein has dealt with problems concerning electromagnetic interactions with matter. On the one hand, it has been concerned with the operation of lasers themselves - particularly at high powers. On the other hand, it has been concerned with laser interactions with matter as a means of studying the matter itself and its polarization carrying excitations. (Author)
