Comparison of Detectors in the Presence of Sidelobe Jamming.

Abstract

The problem of detecting targets in the presence of sidelobe jamming using noncoherent detectors is considered. It is shown that the ratio detector has better performance than the normally used cell-average CFAR. Tests using recorded jamming data confirm the theoretical advantage of the ratio detector.
