CCSS Go-to-War (Supply Management).

Abstract

This is one of a series of studies on modifications needed to the Commodity Command Standard System (CCSS) to enable it to cope with changes during the transition from peace to war and to accommodate increased levels of activity during a continuing war situation. This particular study deals only with the Supply Management portion of CCSS. Certain changes are recommended at the start of the war emergency to switch over to wartime demand rates, deployments, etc., and to modify decision parameters. Other recommendations are made as to applications that must be run during the transition period (Hard Hard Core) and to those that could be deferred for a period of time. (Author)
