Overland and Amphibious ACV Design Data Relating to Performance (Donnees Techniques Relatives au Rendement de VCA Terrestres et Amphibies).

Abstract

This handbook of data endeavours to collect and present in practical form such design data relating to performance as are currently publicly available. The art is at present in an early stage of its development, and many of the data given are tentative or incomplete, and are hedged around by ill-defined boundary conditions. We shall attempt to keep up with the ever-shifting frontiers of ignorance by issuing amendments to this handbook as exploration proceeds. Finally one must remember that he who lives strictly by the rules, stagnates. Progress is attained only by knowing the rules, and then living dangerously beyond them. (Author)
