The X-Chrom Lens for Correction of Color Deficiency

Abstract

A new device called the X-Chrom lens (a red contact lens fitted for the on-dominant eye) is being marketed today as a correction of color deficiencies. The usefulness of this lens was evaluated on one protanomolous color defective nd one deuteranope, using an extensive battery of color vision tests.
