Abstract

This study examines the U.S. Intelligence Community and focuses on the many obstacles which threaten to impede the production of intelligence today. Chief among the concerns discussed are the organizational peculiarities which affect the Intelligence Community as well as such external factors, the unauthorized disclosure or intelligence sources and methods through leaking and espionage.
