Estimating Economic Development Impacts; An Alternative Approach.

Abstract

This report is a comment on an alternative approach to estimating economic development benefits from water resources projects. This discussion is concerned only with economic impacts, which can be separated into two categories - direct or primary benefits, and secondary or equilibrium benefits.
