Target Glint Suppression Technology.

Abstract

The subject of target noise effects, such as radar glint and the analogous radar range measurement error, is addressed both theoretically and via computer simulation. A thorough analytic treatment for Rayleigh targets is presented, including optimum target noise reduction techniques and associated variances. Performance against representative aircraft and cruise missile models is also presented. (Author)
