Quality of Life Parity Analysis for POM-82

Abstract

This is a report on the non-compensation aspects of life in the naval service. Specific Navy-wide programs that have the objective of enhancing the quality of life for servicemembers and their families are analyzed. The size of each quality of life (QOL) program is examined in comparison to counter-part Army and Air Force programs and the relative efficiency or productivity of each program is assessed. Recent indications of the servicemembers' view of their quality of life and DOD trends in the retention of personnel are also examined and contrasted with the QOL programs. (Author)
