Respirator Qualitative/Quantitative Fit Test Method Analysis

Abstract

This report analyzes the qualitative and quantitative methods to measure the fit of a respirator to a user. In particular, both gaseous and aerosol (liquid and solid) quantitative challenge agents are studied. The human compatibility of qualitative and quantitative challenge agents is developed. A final recommendation for a qualitative and quantitative respirator fit test method and procedure is made.
