Adaptive Designs in Attribute Life Testing.

Abstract

The study is concerned with the problem of adaptively determining the (surveillance) observation epochs for the purpose of estimating the parameter(s) of a life distribution under attribute life testing. A discrete adaptive procedure is developed and proved to be epsilon-optimal under the criterion of maximizing the Fisher information function. (Author)
