Computer Manipulation of Laboratory Data.

Abstract

Programs have been written for the CDC 6600 computer in Extended Fortran. The data input for the programs is entered remotely using a CRT terminal. It is possible with the remote terminal to observe data before plotting. The data may then be edited and drawn into plots at a remote plotting site. Operational use has shown the CDC 6600 computer to be a valuable instrument and time saving device for the manipulation of large numbers of data points. (Author)
