DMAHTC's Support to National Ocean Survey LORAN C Charting,

Abstract

The selection of LORAN-C as the primary Radionavigation System for the U.S. Coastal Confluence Zone requires by, joint agreement, that DMAHTC, USCG, and NOS provide corrections to LORAN-C Lattices overprinted on NOS Charts. This paper reviews the techniques used to compute these corrections. It also gives the status of the LORAN-C System. (Author)
