Quasi-Static Stress-Strain Curves, S-7 Tool Steel

Abstract

The results of quasi-static, uniaxial, compression, and tensile and sonic elastic moduli room temperature tests of S-7 tool steel are presented. The modulus of elasticity, shear modulus, Poisson's ratio, yield strength, and bulk modulus of various tempers of S-7 tool steel are reported as well as the stress- strain curves for both compression and tensile loading.
