Abstract

This technical report summarizes the 19-year history of experimental research on complaint coatings performed by Dr. Max O. Kramer. In addition to the drag reduction in the transitional flow region, the several test techniques, the various bodies of revolution, and the complaint coating designs are described in detail. (Author)
