Polymeric Material Testing Procedures to Determine Damping Properties and the Results of Selected Commercial Materials

Abstract

This report contains a detailed discussion of the methods and procedures used to determine the damping properties of commercially available polymeric materials. All the data from the testing is contained in the Appendices, which include the bare beam results, the coated beam results, and the temperature nomogram for each material tested.
