Research Policy in the Federal Republic of Germany.

Abstract

The research policy of the Federal Republic of Germany as described in Bundesbericht Forschung VI, 1979 is abstracted and compared with trends in the OECD nations as described by the OECD Committee for Scientific and Technological Policy, 1978. Funding estimates for R&D sectors are given. Lists are given of the Big Science establishments, the Max-Planck institutes, and the Fraunhofer institutes. (Author)
