M-X Environmental Technical Report. Alternative Potential Deployment Areas. Nevada/Utah.

Abstract

On the basis of a number of geotechnical and cultural criteria and military and operational suitability, two areas have been identified as suitable for M-X deployment. These are Nevada/Utah and Texas/New Mexico. This report deals with the Nevada/Utah region which covers a large portion of Central Nevada and Western Utah. The study area for socioeconomic analysis, called the region of influence (ROI), includes the Nevada counties of Clark, Eureka, Lincoln, Nye, and White Pine an the Utah counties of Beaver, Iron, Juab, Millard, Salt Lake, Utah, and Washington.
