Nanticoke River, Maryland, Dye Dispersion Study; Chesapeake Bay Hydraulic Model Investigation.

Abstract

The potential for a hazardous chemical leak into the Nanticoke River from a chemical storage facility at Sharptown, Maryland, prompted the State of Maryland to request a study to assess the movement of waterborne contaminants in the Nanticoke River. Thus a test was conducted to monitor the movement of a dye tracer in the existing physical model of Chesapeake Bay. (Author)
