Description of VERKSAM, the Swedish Vulnerability Assessment Methodology for Use with Stationary or Slow-Moving Land or Sea Surface Targets.

Abstract

This report is a translation of two reports from the Swedish National Defense Research Institute (Forsvarets Forskningsanstalt - FOA). The report describes the model behind the computer programs VERKSAM and gives an example of how it has been used. The model is intended for calculation of the effects of conventional weapon systems on stationary or slow-moving targets. The results are the effects in the different functional systems measured by the probability that they are in different conditions after an attack. (Author)
